Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the DiscForge app and services, provided by RGZ Tech Services ("we", "us"). By using DiscForge you agree to them. If you get the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where they conflict, these terms apply to the extent permitted.

Your account

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country) to use DiscForge. Keep your login details secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. Give accurate information and don't impersonate anyone.

DiscForge Pro

• Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) sold through the App Store. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
• AI Caddie includes a daily usage limit (currently 25 recommendations per day), which we may adjust.
• We may change Pro features or prices. Price changes apply from your next renewal, with notice as required by Apple.

Buying Pro on our website

• You can also buy Pro on our website. Web purchases are processed by Stripe through RevenueCat, not by Apple, and are tied to the DiscForge account you sign in with.
• Web subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel. Cancel anytime with the link in your receipt email, or email info@rgztechservices.com; you keep Pro until the end of the paid period.
• Prices on the website are shown before you pay and may not include sales tax, which is added at checkout where required.
• For web purchases, contact us for refunds at info@rgztechservices.com. We handle them ourselves; Apple's refund process covers only App Store purchases.
• Don't subscribe both in the app and on the web; if you do by mistake, contact us.

Your content

You own the content you add — rounds, notes, discs, comparisons and courses. You give us permission to store, process and display it to run the service, including showing it to other users according to your privacy settings. Courses you add are shown to all users; make sure they're accurate and that you have the right to share the information.

Acceptable use

Don't:

• post false, offensive, infringing or unlawful content, including in names, notes and courses;
• harass other users or misuse friend requests or live rounds;
• try to access other users' data, break our security, or overload the service;
• scrape, copy or resell the service or its data;
• use DiscForge in a way that breaks the law or course rules.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.

Play safely

DiscForge is a tool to help you play. Always follow course rules and posted signs, check that the fairway is clear before throwing, and stay aware of your surroundings. Don't use the app while driving. Distances, maps, wind data and course details may be inaccurate or out of date.

AI Caddie and recommendations

AI Caddie and wind advice are generated automatically and may be wrong or unsuitable. Use your own judgement; they're suggestions, not instructions.

Third-party services

DiscForge uses services from other companies (for example Google Firebase, Apple, RevenueCat, Anthropic, Open-Meteo, the PDGA and map providers). Their terms may also apply, and we aren't responsible for their services.

Disclaimers

DiscForge is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data won't be lost.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for injury or loss arising from playing disc golf or relying on the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for DiscForge in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using DiscForge at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or where required by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and, for significant changes, let you know in the app. Continuing to use DiscForge means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
